Abstract

In this issue, Iram and colleagues described their study on the anti-inflammatory potential of Medicago laciniata, Afzal and her colleagues rationalized the traditional use of Peganum harmala in cardiovascular diseases, Aisha and her colleagues summarized studies showing inhibition of tau by medicinal plants and phytocompounds isolated from them for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, Zia-Ul-Hq et al, compiled investigations in which adenosine diphosphate-induced platelet aggregation is shown to be inhibited by medicinal plants, and Ullah and his colleagues reviewed studies showing potential calcium channel blockers from medicinal plants and provided their insights and recommended their further investigation in clinical trials.
