Publication Fee
Plant Bulletin is a self-sustaining, open-access journal that operates independently, and no financial support from any institution or government sources is received. The journal's operations are primarily funded through author handling fees and contributions from academic, corporate sponsors, and paid members. These handling fees are utilized for maintaining the journal's infrastructure. All articles published in Plant Bulletin are freely accessible on the internet. While there are no submission charges, authors are required to pay a reasonable handling fee only after their manuscript has been accepted for publication.
The publication fee for Plant Bulletin is set at Rs. 15,000 ($100).
We understand that not all authors may have the financial means to cover these fees, and we want to ensure that valuable research is not hindered by financial constraints. Therefore, we offer an opportunity to request a fee waiver.
If you are unable to pay the publication fee, please submit your fee waiver request before or at the time of manuscript transfer/submission to the journal. You can send your requests to the journal's accounts section at accounts@rootspress.org. We are committed to facilitating the dissemination of important research in the field of phytopathology and encourage all eligible authors to explore this fee waiver option.
