About the Journal

Food and Agriculture Research Journal is peer reviewed, open access journal covers global agriculture, land use and food science research. It publishes strategic, applied, and interdisciplinary studies in all aspects of agriculture and food science, as well as reviews of agriculturally relevant scientific topics. Journal focuses on novel approaches, techniques, and technologies to improve agricultural output through genetic alterations, better crop husbandry, precision agriculture, crop protection, animal health & production, food processing, forestry, social and economic aspects of agriculture.

The journal publishes solicited and unsolicited research articles, short messages, and reviews that expand our knowledge of agriculture and food sciences with well-defined research hypotheses, experimental designs, and unique results. Articles are published assuming they haven't been published or under consideration. Journal covers articles about plant genetic resources, improving agricultural output through genetic modifications, better crop husbandry, precision agriculture, crop protection, animal health & production, food processing, forestry, and social and economic aspects of agriculture. The magazine is also a significant arena for disseminating information about crop production techniques and technology, threats of land and environment degradation, and future agricultural challenges such as drought, salt, crop pests & diseases, and poor soil fertility. Improved crops that could diversify human consumption create industrial products. Journal publishes articles on indigenous plant genetic resources, industrial food chain, post-harvest losses, and new food preservation and processing methods. Farmer- and scientist-led studies will be published first.
